Early Habitat ‘Summa’ modular storage unit. Designed by Sir Terence Conran for Habitat c1950's. Consisting of 10 units and 2 drawers. Sir Terence Conran is synonymous with the development and styling of British design since the early 1950s. This storage unit formed part of the 'Summa' range of flat pack furniture that was designed in the 1950s and 1960s. A similar unit was illustrated in 'The Way We Live Now' Exhibition to mark Conran's 80th birthday at The Design Museum in London. Overall measures 198 cm high x 244 cm x 45 cm (each of the lower cabinets 66 cm h x 61 cm w x 45 cm d higher shelves 30 cm D)
