Arts and crafts stool by Arthur Simpson. Oak stool with chamfered legs and interwoven leather strap seat. Although unmarked a well known Simpson design. Arthur Simpson was working from Kendal in the Lake district and made furniture to the designs of CFA Voysey. Measures 28 cm high x 32.5 cm x 43.5 cm.
